Counselling is described as the talking cure. A unique helping professional relationship where we work together to make sense of your world and the difficulties you may face.

It is a way of allowing you to speak openly about what you really feel and what you want from life without being judged, in a confidential setting.

It may be that you dont know what is wrong, but know you don't feel right, the work we do together in our counselling sessions can enable you to get clarity so that you re-gain direction in your life.

Counselling can help you to make sense of your world so that you can enjoy living in it.

Counselling can lead to understanding and insight into who you are, helping you identify what changes you can and want to make so that you can be the person you want to be.

You are then able to manage life situations that often seem unmanageable.

By working together you are able to gain control of your life and realise your full potential.

Psychotherapy is a way of understanding the deeper issues you may face, often this is long term work. Usually psychotherapy will include working towards getting an understanding of your unconcious process, this is important because your unconscious can drive you to repeat behaviours that you are unable to make sense of.
